I know there hasn’t been a lot of original content on bMarshall.us these days since I started BarefootBrandon.com, but I wanted to share the latest Iron Man 2 trailer, which is pretty awesome. While I’ll agree that it might be giving a little too much away, it’s still worth a watch and I’m sure the movie will have plenty of un-seen action when it actually comes out…

Back from the Bahamas
Brandon
I meant to put up this post earlier, but I’m still trying to get back in the swing of things after five days away from home/work. Anyways, on Monday Sonya and I got back from our weekend cruise to the Bahamas. The trip was a great time, even if the weather wasn’t quite what I was expecting. It was cloudy and windy the entire time and we actually couldn’t make our second stop, which was supposed to be at a private island owned by Royal Caribbean, due to the weather and waves. However, we did get to stop in Nassau, where we toured the Atlantis resort and chilled on Cabbage Beach (probably worst name for a beach ever!) We got to see multiple comedy shows, a juggler, the Superbowl (minus the commercials due to being in international waters,) a bar-tending competition, along with some other stuff. The other great thing on all cruises is the food of course. We had one night where we got to dress up all fancy, while the rest of the days were spent at the buffet and some other spots on the ship. Take a look at the pictures to see anything I might have missed!
Big Dog robot going to war
Brandon
Apparently DARPA, the agency in charge of developing new technology for the military, has approved a contract to Boston Dynamics for it’s Big Dog robot. Watch this video (especially the part with the ice slicks about halfway through) if you want to be amazed and possibly feel bad for a robot.

Beer of the season club
Brandon
For Christmas Sonya got me a beer of the season membership and I finally got my first box yesterday! Each season they send you a 12 pack, which includes three beers of four different types. Unfortunately I’ve already had Ipswich Nut Brown and my dog knocked over my first glass of the porter…but other than that it should be pretty good.
